The participants for this second edition were selected from a pool of more than 260 applications from the Arab world and beyond, following an open call launched in October 2025. The participants are:
Amro Amer (b. 1992, Palestine) is a Ramallah-based writer, vocalist, and sound artist (Haykal). Known for his lyricism and working across a wide range of musical styles, his practice includes songwriting, music production, radio-theatre sound pieces, and sound installations.
Frida Iman Charara (b. 1990, Lebanon) is a Cairo-based interdisciplinary artist and researcher, who merges materials and movement into installations and performances, while reflecting on the politics of space and species. Her work is process-driven and body-informed.
Ghida Hachicho (b. 1989, Lebanon) is a Beirut-based artist, choreographer, and set-designer. Her choreography expands beyond the dancing body, not only as a practice of aesthetics but also as social and historical processes of organizing bodies in time and space.
Hozifa Mostafa (b. 1991, Egypt) is a Cairo-based artist and filmmaker. He works in art-house cinema, with a special interest in short films and collaborative research projects. In his practice, he focuses on the relationship between humans and their social context, and on the representation of the marginalised, children, and memory.
Marianne Fahmy (b. 1992, Egypt) is an Alexandria-based artist. Her works span film and installation, and engage with questions ranging from environmental concerns to the possibilities of a new nationalism within marginalized narratives.
Zineb Mahassini / Zizu (b. 1998, Morocco) is a Rabat-based artist. Their practice interrogates the intersections of tradition, digital culture, and socio-environmental justice, building spaces of shared creativity and resources, rooted in cultural resistance. They are currently focused on collective film- and performance-making.
