Which personal data does Mophradat collect and process? 

Mophradat may collect and process information in several ways: Information you give Mophradat or its partners, such as name, home address, telephone number, and email address, specifically when you apply to any of Mophradat’s open calls through its application forms; and information Mophradat gets from visits to its website or newsletters, such as IP addresses and clicks.

General purpose of the processing

Mophradat only uses your data to enhance the delivery of its services. This means that Mophradat’s processing purposes are always directly related to Mophradat’s mandate. Mophradat does not use your data for targeted marketing. Your data will not be shared with third parties, unless to comply with application processing and other administrative obligations.

These third parties are bound to confidentiality as per their agreement with us, an oath or legal obligation, or their own privacy policy.

Automatically collected data

Data that is automatically collected by Mophradat’s website is processed with the aim of further improving its services. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Google Analytics

Through Mophradat’s website, a cookie is placed from Google, as part of their “Analytics” service. Mophradat uses this service to get reports on how visitors use the website. Mophradat has no control or influence over this measure. Mophradat has not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Web hosting

Mophradat has opted for gandi.net for its web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of Mophradat’s services is hosted by this party. Gandi.net has access to your data to provide Mophradat technical support; they will never use your data for any other purposes. Gandi.net is obliged to take appropriate security measures as per the agreement Mophradat has concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are regularly made to prevent data loss. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Gandi.net has taken the appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and/or the unauthorized use of your personal data. Gandi.net is obliged to observe confidentiality on the grounds of the agreement.

Application processing

Mophradat has partnered with formstack.com to collect the information and application data sent in response to Mophradat’s open calls. All application data is collected by Formstack and stored on its servers, in compliance with its own privacy policy.

Mophradat stores the data collected from applications for an indefinite period of time and may use some of the information collected for research and archival purposes. Should you object to the storage of your information, please refer to the section below, “Your data protection rights”, and write to Mophradat accordingly.

Email services

Gmail

For Mophradat’s regular email correspondence, the services of Google are used. Gmail processes personal data on Mophradat’s behalf and uses your data for its own purposes. Please see Google’s own privacy policy here.

Mailing lists

MailChimp

Mophradat’s website uses MailChimp, a third party that handles the sending of Mophradat’s newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from Mophradat’s website are sent via MailChimp’s servers. MailChimp will never use your name or e-mail address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every newsletter sent automatically via Mophradat’s website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. Click there if you no longer want to receive newsletters from Mophradat’s website. Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. Mophradat’s social media

Mophradat is on social media. Mophradat uses Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for communication purposes. When you subscribe to or use Mophradat’s social media pages, the latter collect and store information automatically. Right to access, to inspect, to rectify, and to erase

You always have the right to inspect the data that Mophradat processes or has processed that relates to your person or that can be traced back to you.

You have the right to request that Mophradat rectifies, corrects, or modifies information you believe is incorrect. You have the right to ask Mophradat to erase the personal data Mophradat has stored about you.

You can submit any request to office [at] mophradat [dot] org. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, Mophradat will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who have this data, stating the category under which Mophradat has stored this data.

Right to object

You have the right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. You may object to certain uses of your personal data if such data is processed for other purposes than necessary for the performance of Mophradat’s services or for the compliance with a legal obligation. You may also object to any further processing of your personal data despite prior given consent. You can object to the processing of your personal data by sending a request to office [at] mophradat [dot] org. You will receive a response in writing within 30 days.

Participation in tax and criminal investigation

Where relevant, Mophradat can be held to a legal obligation to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case, Mophradat would be legally obliged to share your information, but will oppose it within the legal possibilities available and permissible.
