Artists Fellowships is a three-months paid assistantship program for young artists and curators to work with more experienced professionals or with an established institution. The aim is for younger artists and curators from the Arab world to be able to learn through a hands-on assistantship to learn more about the professional art making world through close exchange with their hosting artists and their institutions to get to know their practice and be introduced to skills, networks, resources, and communities in their field. The fellowships follow a clear job description and schedule provided by the hosting artist, who also commits to engaging in a conversation with the fellows about their practices. The fellows are provided with a grant from Mophradat to support the fellowship period.
