Mophradat creates opportunities for artists from the Arab world through an inventive approach to funding, commissioning, collaborating, and gathering. Our way of working is imaginative and ambitious, inclusive, and hospitable.

Mophradat is a Brussels-based non-profit arts association that also runs a multidisciplinary venue in Athens for individuals, collectives, and organizations who are likewise working through art to champion progressive narratives and values. Alongside this project, Mophradat continues its regional and international programs that support artists from the Arab world, promote critical thinking on the current arts-making paradigms, and create opportunities in partnership with interesting arts organizations globally.

This Artist Liaison position is for someone with significant experience in the arts who wants to work closely with artists to help them realize their projects that are developed as part of Mophradat’s programs.

  • Follow up the development of Consortium Commissions 2023/25 projects with artists and institutions, including any administrative or communication-related follow-up required.
  • Be the primary contact for fellows and hosting artists and institutions participating in the Artists Fellowships program. This includes regular check-ins, monthly follow-ups, administrative aspects, and reporting.
  • Follow up with Grants for Artists’ Practice recipients on the development of their projects and coordinate their relationship with their “Peer” within the program parameters.
  • Provide all relevant administrative support related to the aforementioned tasks in close collaboration with the Grants and Administration coordinators.
